Sometimes a piece of software will change the “logo” (often called branding) in Internet Explorer. A lot of the time your ISP will do this when they install their ‘required’ software. To reset the logo to its default, follow the instructions outlined below. |
- Close all open Internet Explorer windows
- Click Start and select Run
- Type in rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear
- Click OK
- Reboot your PC
- Open Internet Explorer and the “branding” (logo) is now reset to the default for Internet Explorer
