The customizations offered by the tool used in this tutorial are somewhat minimal – due to the limitation Apple puts on developers. When your device is Jailbroken, those limitations kind of go out the window and you can install “non-App Store” or “unofficial” Apps that *really* let you change up your iPhone/iPad.
