Power	Off – Modem is not receiving power or off. Flashing – Modem is performing self diagnostics. Solid – Modem is receiving power with self diagnostics passed.
Receive	Off – Modem is non operational. Flashing – Indicates data received through cable network or scanning downstream. Solid – Locked onto downstream signal with no activity.
Send	Off – Modem is non operational. Flashing – Indicates data transmitted or ranging. Solid – Ranging is complete with no activity.
Service	Off – Modem is non operational. Flashing – Modem registration in progress. Solid – Modem is acquired.
Busy	Reserved for use by the cable provider.
Message	Indicates incoming email (if supported by the cable provider).
