This step-by-step guide will show you how to set up your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch so that it can connect to and control your Windows 10 desktop, laptop or tablet.
Using the completely free (for non-commercial use) software called “TeamViewer”, you can control a Windows 10 computer via your iOS device. You’ll be able to view the entire Windows screen on your iOS device and have complete control of you computer – just as if you were sitting right in front of it. One of the many benefits of using TeamViewer is that it’s painfully easy to access Windows across your home network and across the Internet itself. Need to get to something on your home computer while you’re in Starbucks, at work or on the go? No problem!

I've used this successfully for several months to log into my home PCs and start webinars I wanted to record while being on the road. Unfortunately, after several months of only doing the above, a window now pops up saying it looks like I'm a commercial user and is limiting my sessions to 5 minutes, but then disconnects me in 60 seconds and won't let me connect for another 10 minutes. If I want a "commercial license" to do what I've been doing, TeamViewer wants $588 a year, which seems astronomical for what I'm doing. it would be cheaper to upgrade all my home PCs to Professional PCs and use Microsoft's free RDP service. It worked great while it lasted, and I'm willing to pay a reasonable price. But nearly $600 a year just to launch webinars remotely seems astronomical.
Will my lab tot have the icon on it and if so can I remove it?
thank you!!!
