This very brief guide will show you how to re-order or re-arrange the icons/Apps on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch “Home” screens.
- To change the order of the icons on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch Home screen – tap one of the icons (doesn’t matter which one) and hold your finger down.
- After holding down the icon for a couple of seconds, a small menu will appear. Select Edit Home Screen from that menu.
- All of the icons on your Home screen will now start to ‘wiggle’, and most will have a small dash ( – ) in the upper-left corner. While the icons are wiggling, tap one, hold your finger down and “drag” that icon to where you want it to appear on your Home Screen.
- Repeat the above step until you’re happy with your Home screen layout. When you’re done, click the Home button on your device.
