How to Send Web Pages From Chrome to an Android Phone (or iPhone)

Share

This short tutorial explains how to quickly send a web page from Chrome on a desktop/laptop to your Android phone or iPhone.

Back in 2010 when this guide was first published, sending a web page from Chrome to your phone was considerably more involved and complicated. Fast forward to 2021 and it’s much easier now. Here’s how –

  1. Once you’ve loaded the page you want to send to your iPhone or Android phone, click anywhere inside of the address bar.
  2. On the far right side of the address bar you’ll see a series of icons – click the one that looks like a square with 4 squares inside of it (it’s called the QR button).
  3. A little window that contains a QR code will pop up. Scan that code in Chrome with your iPhone or Android phone and it’ll load that page on your phone (or tablet).
  4. If you need any help with QR codes we’ve got you covered – here’s a guide on using QR codes with Android and one for iPhones and iPads.
