How to Determine the IP Address Your iPhone or iPad Uses

1. Tap the Settings button on your iPad/iPhone Home screen.
2. Select Wi-Fi from the list of Settings.
3. Tap the “i” icon (see screenshot below) located on the same line as the name of the Wireless Network that you’re connected to.
4. Scroll down a bit to the IPV4 ADDRESS section and you’ll see a list of addresses – including the one you’re looking for – your IP Address.
5. If you’re looking for the public IP address that your iPad or iPhone is using, simply launch the browser on your iPhone/iPad and visit the site What’s My IP? – it will be displayed in big bold text at the top of that page.

How to Determine the MAC Address Your iPhone or iPad Uses

1. Tap the Settings button on your iPad/iPhone Home screen.
2. Select General from the list of Settings.
3. Now tap the About option.
4. Scroll down a bit and locate the Wi-Fi Address – that’s the MAC address of your iPhone/iPad.
