How to Determine the IP Address Your iPhone or iPad Uses
- Tap the Settings button on your iPad/iPhone Home screen.
- Select Wi-Fi from the list of Settings.
- Tap the “i” icon (see screenshot below) located on the same line as the name of the Wireless Network that you’re connected to.
- Scroll down a bit to the IPV4 ADDRESS section and you’ll see a list of addresses – including the one you’re looking for – your IP Address.
- If you’re looking for the public IP address that your iPad or iPhone is using, simply launch the browser on your iPhone/iPad and visit the site What’s My IP? – it will be displayed in big bold text at the top of that page.
How to Determine the MAC Address Your iPhone or iPad Uses
- Tap the Settings button on your iPad/iPhone Home screen.
- Select General from the list of Settings.
- Now tap the About option.
- Scroll down a bit and locate the Wi-Fi Address – that’s the MAC address of your iPhone/iPad.
