This guide will show you how to configure Ubuntu to automatically sign in each time you start up your computer.
Please note: if you’re using Ubuntu on a laptop/computer that doesn’t stay within your residence, or you’re even a tiny bit concerned that someone might use it without your permission, do not enable automatic login as it’s a huge, gigantic security risk. But if you’re the only one that has access to it and/or don’t care if someone can view everything on your computer, by all means enable the automatic login feature :)
