Did you know.. How to use your favorite email program with Gmail

This is the the first of the Did you know.. posts. What’s a Did you know.. post? It’s a topic that I was going to write about only to find that it has already been covered, and well.

If for whatever reason you don’t like the Gmail interface, but like the overall service (storage space!), you can configure Gmail to work with your favorite email program, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Mail or Thunderbird.

First you’ll need to enable POP for your Gmail account, and then set up your email program to use Gmail. That’s it!
