  1. When you plug your iPod into your computer, Rhythmbox will launch by default. Wenn Sie Ihren iPod in den Computer ein, Rhythmbox wird standardmäßig aktiviert. Close it down, and open Amarok.   3. Back in Amarok click the Devices tab from the left column (if it isn’t already displayed). Zurück in Amarok klicken Sie auf die Registerkarte Geräte aus der linken Spalte (wenn er nicht bereits angezeigt wird).

  1. Select System -> Preferences -> Removable Drives and Media . Wählen Sie System -> Einstellungen -> Removable Drives und Medien.

  3. Assuming you installed Amarok in the default location, select File System from the Places column, then the usr folder and finally the bin folder.     Hahah yeah it is kinda ugly. Hahah yeah es ist irgendwie hässlich. For the sake of tutorials/overviews I leave all the defaults - the brown is Ubuntu’s default theme. Aus Gründen der Tutorien / Überblicke Ich überlasse alle Standardeinstellungen - die braune Ubuntu ist der Standard-Theme. The blue is Amarok’s default theme. Die blaue ist Amarok Standard-Theme. When I’m not using Ubuntu for screenshots etc, I actually have Compiz enabled with a different theme. Wenn ich nicht mit Ubuntu, um Screenshots etc, ich habe tatsächlich Compiz aktiviert mit einem anderen Thema.

    Does it handle OGG? Ist es handle OGG? I mean the iPod itself doesn’t handle OGG - I know that, but a friend of mine has a music collection where more than half of it is on OGG. Ich meine den iPod selbst nicht handhaben OGG - ich weiß, aber ein Freund von mir hat eine Musik-Sammlung, in dem mehr als die Hälfte davon ist auf OGG. I have not yet found a Linux program that can convert OGG files on the fly when you transfer them, and converting them by hand is not really a good option.     THANKS!!! DANKE! My Ipod was a rejected from Itunes. Mein iPod war ein aus dem iTunes abgelehnt. Simply no comunication between them in windows. Einfach keine Kommunikation zwischen ihnen in Windows. I was about to send it to service, and since Apple has no store in my town, there was about 30 dolars delivery and a 15 days waiting period. Ich war dabei, senden Sie es an, und da Apple keine Speicherung in meiner Stadt gab es über 30 dolars Liefer-und ein 15 Tage Karenzzeit. But now Amarok made it sound perfectly! Aber jetzt machte es Amarok Ton perfekt!

    Nice Tutorial! Nizza-Tutorial! Infact I use Amarok for music transfer to my Video iPod. Infact Ich verwende Amarok für Musik Überweisung auf mein Video iPod. However, the feature in iTunes which I love and which Amarok doesn’t seem to have, is that you can create playlists. Allerdings ist die Funktion in iTunes, die ich liebe und die Amarok nicht zu haben scheinen, ist, dass Sie können Wiedergabelisten erstellen. Is there a way to do that , in amarok?     It seems like in Hardy Heron the System Preferences->Removable Devices and Media doesn’t have a multimedia tab any longer. Es scheint wie in Hardy Heron die Systemeinstellungen-> Removable Devices und Medien nicht über ein Multimedia-Register nicht mehr.

    I found two possible places where it could be set in Hardy: Ich fand zwei mögliche Orte, an denen es könnte in Hardy:

    1. 1 werden. System Preferences -> Preferred Applications -> Multimedia where you can choose a Custom Multimedia Player, I set this to amarok, but it still launches Rhythmbox on insert Systemeinstellungen -> Bevorzugte Anwendungen -> Multimedia Wo können Sie eine benutzerdefinierte Multimedia Player, ich dies auf amarok, aber es bringt noch in Rhythmbox einfügen

    2. Nautalus edit->Preferences->Media has a bunch of options for opening Rhythmbox for music player, but doesn’t let you specify an alternative!
