This brief tutorial will show you how to use MediaMonkey to manage your iPod. Ce bref tutoriel va vous montrer comment utiliser MediaMonkey pour gérer votre iPod.
MediaMonkey is available in two versions - one is free, the other not so much (19.95 USD for the v2.x license, 34.95 USD for a lifetime license). MediaMonkey est disponible en deux versions - celle-ci est libre, l'autre pas tant (19,95 USD pour la licence v2.x, 34,95 USD pour une durée de vie de licence). This tutorial will focus on the free version, which itself is still very, very feature-rich. Ce tutoriel va se concentrer sur la version gratuite, qui lui-même est encore très, très riche en fonctionnalités.
- First, make sure to enable disk use on your iPod by connecting it and opening iTunes (if it doesn’t auto-launch). Tout d'abord, assurez-vous de permettre l'utilisation du disque sur votre iPod en le connectant et l'ouverture d'iTunes (si elle n'est pas auto-lancement). Select your iPod and then click the Settings tab. Sélectionnez votre iPod, puis cliquez sur l'onglet Paramètres. Scroll down to the Options section and remove the check from the box labeled Open iTunes when this iPod is attached . Faites défiler la liste jusqu'à la section Options et enlevez le crochet de la case Ouvrez iTunes lorsque cet iPod est jointe en annexe. Then place a check in the Enable disk use box (if it isn’t checked already). Ensuite, placez une coche dans la Activer l'utilisation du disque case (si elle n'est pas déjà cochée). Click Apply . Cliquez sur Appliquer.
- Exit out of iTunes, and confirm that your iPod has now mounted itself as a drive. Sortie de iTunes, et de confirmer que votre iPod a monté lui-même comme un dur.
- Download and install MediaMonkey Télécharger et installer MediaMonkey if you haven’t yet. si vous ne l'avez pas encore. When you run it for the first time you’ll be presented with a brief setup wizard. Lorsque vous lancez pour la première fois que vous vous retrouvez face à un bref assistant de configuration. The first screen explains the differences between the paid and free versions, and lets you know what it’s going to do next. Le premier écran explique les différences entre le payé et versions libres, et vous permet de savoir ce qu'il va faire ensuite. Click OK to continue. Cliquez sur OK pour continuer.
- From the top part of the Add Folders window, select any of the drives/folders you want MediaMonkey to scan for audio files. De la partie supérieure de la fenêtre Ajouter des dossiers, sélectionnez l'un des lecteurs / dossiers que vous souhaitez MediaMonkey pour scanner les fichiers audio. From the bottom part of the same window, select the type of files you want MediaMonkey to scan for. De la partie inférieure de la même fenêtre, sélectionnez le type de fichiers que vous souhaitez numériser à MediaMonkey. Click OK when you’re ready. Cliquez sur OK lorsque vous êtes prêt.
- MediaMonkey will also auto-detect many other audio players on your system, and ask if you want to import information associated with them. MediaMonkey également détecter automatiquement de nombreux autres lecteurs audio sur votre système, et vous demandera si vous voulez importer les informations qui leur sont associés. Click OK or Cancel depending on your preference. Cliquez sur OK ou Annuler selon votre préférence.
- And now MediaMonkey will launch. Et maintenant, MediaMonkey lancera. Use the left side column to navigate to some of your music (via Artists , Album , Genre etc.) Utilisez la colonne de gauche pour naviguer vers une partie de votre musique (par artistes, album, genre…)
- Plug in your iPod if it isn’t already, highlight a few tracks, and drag them to the iPod entry in the left column. Branchez votre iPod si ce n'est déjà fait, mettre en lumière quelques pistes, et faites-les glisser sur l'iPod entrée dans la colonne de gauche.
- The bottom section of MediaMonkey will display the transfer status. La partie inférieure de MediaMonkey affichera le transfert.
- When the transfers have completed, select your iPod from the left column to confirm the tracks were uploaded. Lorsque les transferts ont achevé, sélectionnez votre iPod dans la colonne de gauche pour confirmer les titres ont été téléchargés.
- Right-click on your iPod in MediaMonkey and select Safely remove device when you’re ready to disconnect your iPod. Cliquez avec le bouton droit sur votre iPod dans MediaMonkey et sélectionnez supprimer dispositif de sécurité lorsque vous êtes prêt à débrancher votre iPod.

I have downloaded this and it works well and all but I like to have playlists on my ipod and I am not sure how I am supposed to make them on this because all I can do is drag a song over but cant organize them, any suggestions J'ai téléchargé et il fonctionne bien et tout, mais je souhaiterais que playlists sur mon iPod et je ne suis pas sûr comment je suis censé faire sur ce point, car tout ce que je peux faire, c'est de faire glisser une chanson plus, mais cant les organiser, toutes les suggestions

hmm… ive tried doing what was said… i found the song on my ipod… but when i try and play it… it jus wont… like…it would start at 0.00sec and stay ther not moving or playing… hmm… ive essayé faire ce qui a été dit… j'ai trouvé la chanson sur mon iPod… mais quand je tente de jouer… il jus habitude…… comme il commencerait à 0.00sec et y rester ne bouge pas ou de jouer…
