). However, Firefox continues to use the old icon in the search bar. Toutefois, Firefox continue à utiliser l'ancienne icône dans la barre de recherche.

A small pop-up window will appear asking you to name (and select an icon) the new search. Une petite fenêtre pop-up apparaîtra vous demandant de nom (et sélectionnez une icône) la nouvelle recherche. Leave the defaults and click OK Laissez les options par défaut et cliquez sur OK
Now you’ll notice the new Google icon in your Search Bar. Maintenant, vous verrez la nouvelle icône Google dans votre barre de recherche.
To remove the old Google entry (and make the new one the default) select the arrow next to the new Google icon and choose Manage Search Engines… from the list. Pour supprimer l'ancienne entrée de Google (et que le nouveau un par défaut), sélectionnez la flèche à côté de la nouvelle version de Google icône et choisissez Gérer les moteurs de recherche… de la liste.
First, select your new Google entry and click the Move Up button until it’s at the top. Tout d'abord, sélectionnez votre nouveau compte Google et cliquez sur le bouton Déplacer vers le haut jusqu'à ce qu'il soit en haut.

Wow, that was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Wow, c'est beaucoup plus facile que je ne le pensais qu'il serait. I hadn’t heard of that plugin before either, thanks!! Je n'avais pas entendu parler de plugin avant que ce soit, merci!
After installing the extension, finding out it is NOT compatible with 3.0RC1, enabling Nightly Tester Tools, forcing compatibility…. Après avoir installé l'extension, de savoir qu'il n'est pas compatible avec 3.0RC1, permettant Outils Tester les soirs, ce qui oblige la compatibilité…. The option to Add to Search Bar is not present. L'option pour ajouter à la barre de recherche n'est pas présent.

Admittedly I did the install on FF 3B5, but assumed (I know) that since the addon page said “Firefox: 2.0 – 3.0.*” that included RC1. Certes, je ne l'installation sur FF 3B5, mais suppose (je sais) que, depuis le module page a déclaré: "Firefox: 2,0 - 3,0 .*" qui comprenait RC1. Sorry about that. Désolé à ce sujet.
There is the possibility that there’sa conflict with another extension of course… Il est possible que il ya un conflit avec une autre extension de cours…
I finally edited the XML file in the searchplugins and changed the icon there. J'ai finalement publié le fichier XML dans le searchplugins et changé l'icône. But you have to convert the file to hex code and that was a process I’m still not quite sure how I did (it involved a commandline on Linux).. Mais il faut convertir le fichier de code hexadécimal et c'est un processus, je ne suis toujours pas très bien comment j'ai fait (il s'agissait d'une commande sous Linux) .. Would be nice if firefox accepted a URL for the search icon in the xml file. Serait bien si Firefox accepté une URL pour l'icône de recherche dans le fichier xml.

Imho the REAL interesting thing is how to NOT get the sh*** icon in my firefox and get the old one back. IMHO Le vrai point intéressant est de savoir comment de ne pas prendre la sh *** icône dans mon firefox et obtenir le retour ancien.
The vast majority of users disagrees on the new icon for what i read on the blogs. La grande majorité des utilisateurs n'est pas d'accord sur la nouvelle icône de ce que je lis sur les blogs.
Ill fiddle around . Mauvais bricoler.
