Modem Light Indicators

Power	Off – Modem is not receiving power. On – Modem is receiving power.
PC	Off – No Ethernet/USB carrier is present. Flashing – Indicates data being transmitted between the PC and Cable Modem. Solid – Indicates that an Ethernet/USB carrier is present.
Data	Flashes in sync with activity between the modem and the cable network.
Cable	Flashing – Cable modem is scanning the network and attempting to register. Solid – Modem is acquired.
