How to remove the scroll bar from OS X’s Terminal

The short answer is to download and install Deeper. Once it’s installed, follow the steps outlined below.

  1. Launch Deeper and select Misc
  2. Remove the check from the box labeled Show the Scroll Bar
  3. No more scroll-bar in the Terminal! For more info on customizing the Terminal, see this overview (specifically the Customize section)
