How to play .OGG Vorbis files in iTunes (Windows and OS X)

Play .ogg files in iTunes by downloading and installing the free Xiph QuickTime Components.

Requirements:

  • Mac OS X (PowerPC and Intel):
    1. version 10.3.9 or 10.4 and later;
    2. QuickTime for Mac OS X - version 7 or later;
  • Windows:
    1. QuickTime for Windows - version 7 or later.

      hmm.. the .flac thing is awesome but this feels like it’s just advertising those things up there.. not really explaining what is required to do to put them into mp3 in my iTunes.
