How to rename Folders on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch

This very brief tutorial will show you how to rename any existing folders you have on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.

  1. Start out by tapping and holding-down your finger on the folder you want to rename. Wait until the folder starts to “wiggle” – then let go. Now tap that folder once.

  2. The “edit” window will appear. Tap the x located at the end of the field with the folder name in it (see screenshot below).

  3. The Keypad will pop up and you can rename the folder.

  4. When you’re done, click the Home button on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. Your folder will now be displayed with its new name.

    THIS IS A COMMENT/QUESTION: My IPad2 won’t HOLD it’s charge. I stopped all active applications but it still won’t keep its charge. I fully charge it and overnight, it loses over half of the charge while it’s in “sleep” mode. Do you think I need a new battery?
