Modem Light Indicators

Power	Off – Power is off. Solid – Power is on.
Cable	Off – No downstream RF carrier present of power is off. Flashing Slow – Downstream RF carrier present, ranging in progress. Flashing Fast – Registration in progress. Solid – Modem is acquired.
LAN	Off – No ethernet carrier present or power is off. Solid – Ethernet carrier is present.
RX	Off – Initial self-test OK or power is off. Flashing – Initial self-test or modem image download in progress. Solid – Self-test failure.
TX	Off – No activity transmitted through cable network or power off. Flashing – Activity is being transmitted through cable network.
