Modem Light Indicators

Power	Solid – Power is connected. Off – Power is not connected or power supply is incorrect or bad.
Link/Act	Solid- Ethernet or USB connection is detected. Flashing – Data is being tramitted to/from USB/ethernet device. Off – No ethernet of USB connection is detected.
Send	Flashes in sync with data being transmitted through cable network.
Receive	Flashes in sync with data being received through cable network.
Cable	Solid – Modem is acquired. Flashing (.125 sec) – Ranging process is OK. Flashing (.25 sec) – Downstream is locked, and sync OK. Flashing (.5 sec) – Scanning for downstream channel. Flashing (1 sec) – Boot up, not ready. Off – Error condition.
