How to determine the MAC address of your iPad

This brief tutorial will show you how to find the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth MAC addresses on your iPad.

Start out by selecting Settings from your home screen

Select General from the list on the left side of the Settings window, and then About from the column on the right side.

Here you’ll find the MAC addresses for both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices in your iPad

added securitiy for instance. in your router/ap you could choose ‘mac filtering’ so only wireless clients for which you have entered the max address in the router’s filtering table is allowed to connect.
