How to disable the “clicking sound” on your iPad’s keyboard

If the “clicking” sound you hear each time you tap a key on the iPad’s keyboard annoys you, just follow these quick steps to disable that sound.

  1. Start out by tapping Settings from your iPad dashboard.

  2. Select General in the Settings column, and then Sounds from the General column.

  3. Slide the Keyboard Clicks option to OFF.

  4. That’s it – no more clicking sounds when you’re typing on your iPad.
