Modem Light Indicators

Modem Power	Solid green when power is applied to modem.
Modem Status	Short off, Long orange flashing – Startup, power on self test. Solid orange – Failed power on self test. Short off, short orange flashing – searching for downstream signal. Long orange, short green flashing – Acquisition in progress. Short off, short green flashing – modem not authorized. Solid green – modem is acquired.
PC Status	Modem is connected to a functional ethernet card.
PC Activity	Flashing orange – Indicates transmission of data to/from ethernet.
Cable Activity	Flashing orange – Indicates transmission of data to/from cable network.
FNC	LED function is determined by cable provider.
