Modem Light Indicators
Power

On – Receiving power.

Cable

Off – Not detecting signal from cable network or not receiving power.
On – Modem is online and ready to transmit data.
Slow Blinking Green – Detecting signal and trying to connect to cable network.
Fast Blinking Green – Rebooting is in progress.

PCOff – Not detecting ethernet connection or not receiving power.
On – Ethernet connection is established to powered-up computer.
Data

Off – Not tranmitting data or not receiving power.
Blinking Green – Transmitting data.

Test

Off – Ready for use after initial self-test or not receiving power.
Blinking Amber – Self-test in progress or software downloading in progress.
Solid Amber – Self-test failed. Corrective action: Try powercycling.
