Modem Light Indicators
Power

Off – Gateway is not receiving power.
On (Green) – Modem power is activated and receiving power.
On (Red) – Self Test Error

Internet Cable

Flashing – Gateway is detecting signal or attempting registration.
On – Gateway is acquired and operational.

Internet ActivityFlashes in sync with data transmitted through the cable Gateway interface.
Ethernet Port 1-4

On (Green) – Gateway is successfully connected to a ethernet device on the corresponding port.
On (Red) – Indicates network collisions.
Flashes in sync with data transmitted through any ethernet port.

USB

On (Green) – Indicates USB device is successfully connected.
On (Red) – Indicates USB device is connected without the driver loaded.

WirelessFlashes Green in sync with data transmitted though the wireless interface.
Flashes Red when there is an error condition.

    1. wish to connect to internet and operate it remotely.

    2. How is it installed?
    a. Cable connected USB
    b. ethernet

    3. then can it be moved from room to room (the Laptop)
