How to Find Your IP Address on Android

This short and easy to follow guide will show you how to figure out the IP address that your Android phone or tablet is currently using.

  1. Start out by tapping on the Settings button
  2. Android Settings button

  3. Select Wi-Fi first, and then tap the name of the network you’re currently connected to.
  4. Locate the field named IP Address – there you go.
  5. If it’s the public IP you’re looking for, the easiest way to find that is to simply open up your browser of choice on your Android device and visit the site WhatsMyIP.org. At the top of that page, your IP address will be displayed for you to copy/paste.
