This quick tip will show you how to adjust the Windows 10 Taskbar in case it ever gets accidentally resized.
- Lately a number of people have reported that a software update or system change has increased the ‘size’ of the Taskbar in Windows 10 (see screenshot below).
- To adjust it, right-click on an empty space in the Taskbar itself and if there’s a check mark next to it, select Lock the taskbar. If there isn’t a check mark next to Lock the taskbar you can skip right down to the next step.
- Hover your cursor over the top of the Taskbar until it switches to the “up and down arrows” cursor. Now click and drag the Taskbar down to its previous size.
- Ta-da! When you’re done, right-click the Taskbar again and re-select Lock the taskbar so that it’s locked again.
