How to Remove Those Useless Windows 10 Apps

Print 3D, Xbox Game Bar, Mixed Reality Portal, Microsoft People – the list goes on. This guide will show you how to safely remove them from your Windows 10 PC.

  1. Start by downloading O&O AppBuster. Once that’s done, double-click the file to run it.
  2. It’ll start scanning your PC right away and the process can take a minute or two.

  5. It’s a really, really good idea to create a system restore point so that if anything goes wrong, you can revert back to a working state. Fortunately, O&O AppBuster makes it super-easy – just click the Actions button and select Create a system restore point (recommended)
  6. Click Yes when prompted.
  7. Wait a few minutes while the app creates a system restore point for you.
  8. Once that’s done you can begin the fun part. Select each of the apps that you wish to remove from your system. You can also opt to show and then remove System Apps and Framework Apps via the View button, but we’d strongly recommend you only do this if you know exactly what you’re doing. When you’ve made your selections, click the Remove button.

  10. Make sure Current User is selected and then click OK
  11. The AppBuster will now remove each of the apps you previously selected.
  12. All done! If for any reason the need arises, you can reinstall those apps. Run AppBuster again, choose the apps you want to have on your system and this time click the Install button.
