Thanks it works, no problems. Now how do we remove itms from the Safari book marks bar?

  2. Dan townsend says

i found the answer to the problem. Go to the apps store and Webtoolbox. It has many tools, but 99 cents makes it a super bargain. I have. Giant list of bookmarks from different macs in the house. This app should do the trick.

On the Ipad all you need to do is go to the bookmarks bar icon. Press the option Bookmarks on the left. Press the bookmarks option again and press “edit” click the no entry icon to remove it from the safari bookmarks bar.

I understand how to add things to the bookmarks BAR, but it I also gives you the option to save just to bookmarks. if you save something saved to just bookmarks not the bookmarks bar, how do you access them? I have three buttons, one is to switch to another page, one is for accessing history, and the other is a drop down menu that allows me to add a bookmark, add the page to the home screen, Mail the link or print. I have been to the settings and have the bookmark bar shown, but cannot access any of the other bookmarks.

    Any thoughts?

Same as ellybu, I have icon square shaped with arrow that clicked on brings me to add bookmark, opened there are 2 options, the title of page to which u can change URL n Bookmarks bar. Press the bookmark bar n it takes u to Bookmark/bar folders that u can tick but nothing else. Other icons on the toolbar is an open book n the back/forth arrows. How p I access the bookmarks I’ve already saved? Very confused.

Illiena…There should be an icon that looks like an open book next to that. Click on the open book to view your bookmarks or follow the guide above to have your bookmarks bar show up in Safari.
