How to Disable the “Typing Sounds” on Your iPhones Keyboard

This very brief tutorial will show you how to disable the ‘clicking’ noise you hear each time you tap a key on your iPhone or iPads touch-screen keypad without having to turn down the volume.

  1. Tap the Settings button on your iPhone or iPad (or iPod Touch).
  2. the settings button for the iphone and ipad

  3. Scroll down to Sounds and tap it.
  4. Scroll all the way down to Keyboard Clicks and toggle the ON/OFF switch to OFF.
  5. That’s it! From now on you won’t hear that clicking “typewriter sound” each time you type on your iPhone/iPad.
