How to Install Beta Apps on Android

This tutorial will take you each step of the way through the process that allows you to install the beta versions of your favorite Apps on your Android phone or tablet.

The first thing you’ll need to do is allow your Android device to install software from “Unknown Sources”. To do so, start by tapping the Settings button.

the android Settings button

Then select Lock Screen and security

Locate the section titled Unknown sources and switch the toggle to the ON position. Tap OK when prompted for confirmation.

Now head over to APK Mirror to locate the beta version of the App you want to install. Download the file and transfer it to your Android device as you would any other.

Locate the file using your Android File Manager and then tap on it to install.

Now you’ll go through the installation process as you would with any other App from the Google Play Store. That’s it!
