How to Add a New Search Engine to Vivaldi

This short guide will show you how to add any search engine so that you can use it right from within the Vivaldi ‘search box’.

There are a couple of ways to do this, we’re going to use the easiest one – here goes –

  1. Go to the website of the search engine you’d like to add to Vivaldi. Find the actual ‘search box’ and right-click anywhere inside of it.
  2. Select Add as Search Engine…
  3. A new window will appear. In the Name section, give your newly added Search Engine a name. Click Add when you’re done.
  4. Now open the Search Box list – ta-da! Any time you want to use that search, just select it from the list or make it the default search engine in Vivaldi.
